Did J. Cole put some subliminal messages in his music to make niggas go completely crazy in buying his music? I mean I’ve never seen people spend hundreds of dollars on buying the same CD, that’s just insane to me. Now J. Cole is alright in my opinion, and Cole World was alright to me too, but not that dope to be buying 10 to 20 copies of the same CD. When I saw these pics I was like are you kidding me? These kids must be spending all their financial aid money on buying all of J. Cole’s CDs. If I had that much money to blow on music, I would buy one J. Cole CD, and then buy 10 or 20 other CDs I never had a chance to buy, to me it only makes sense, what would I do with 20 copies of the same CD?
I’m always glad to see brothers making money, and I’m happy for J. Cole to have such loyal fans, I just don’t think I’d ever do anything like this for any of my favorite rappers or singers, and I’m pretty loyal to artist I like. I usually spend $30 to $50 a month on music (CDs, Vinyls, and going to shows). I remember talking to my homie Raidjie like 3 or 4 months ago, and telling her I predicted J. Cole to only sell 150,000 copies of his CD it’s first week, boy was I wrong, I see he’s looking at almost 250,000 copies the first week, go head Blackman, make that money lol.
So 4 copies of Cole World?
This girl went to two different stores buying up all the J. Cole CDs, and ended up spending over $100 on them. When I saw this picture, I was shocked, and thought 11 Cole World CDs, wow!
I guess one for the car, and one for the home?
Did this dude really buy this many copies of Cole Word??? I read he went to Best Buy, and they limited him to only 5 copies, so he went and bought other copies, I hope he kept the receipts.
3 copies, maybe he’s giving those other copies to his friends.
He got his two copies!
Maybe one of those will be for the car?
P.S. I didn’t buy Cole World. Also, I have yet to see a picture of anyone holding up bought Lil Wayne CDs, did anyone even buy The Carter 4? I haven’t met anyone who did, but the brother still somehow sold almost a million copies his first week.
